OSTRANDER, Mark James – Of Linden, age 60, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at home.
Mark was born in Flint, Michigan on November 2, 1959, the son James Carl Ostrander and Patsy Lou Lucas. He graduated from Ainsworth High School and owned Mark Signs for about 35 years. He married Rhonda Marie Riley on February 23, 1991 in Flint, Michigan. He enjoyed playing baseball, golf, and spending time with friends.
Visitation 2-6pm Friday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
A private family service will be held at a later date with Pastor Larry Rednower officiating. Cremation will take place following the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.
Surviving are wife, Rhonda Riley Ostrander;
Sons, Matt James Ostrander (Jamie DeMarrow) and Chase Lucas Ostrander (Kaylee);
Mother, Patsy Lou Ostrander;
Sister, Jamie Ostrander;
Nieces, Stephanie Dawn Lou Terrell and Brittanie Star Lot Terrell;
Sister-in-law, Melody Dawn Parkhurst (Richard David);
Niece, Brandi-Marie Nicole Parkhurst Hart (Jeffrey);
Nephew, David Ryan Parkhurst;
Great-nephews, Wyatt Richard Hart, Weston Ryan Hart, and Waylon Jeffrey Hart;
Mother-in-law, Sally Ann Marie Riley and father-in-law, Thomas C. Riley.
He was preceded in death by his father, James, and brother-in-law, John Stephen.
