HODGES, Mary R. – Of Flint, age 88, died Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Wellbridge of Fenton.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 2415 Bagley Street in Flint,
Father Thomas Firestone officiating.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to the Knights of Columbus #490 and the Corale Group.
Visitation 12-3 and 5-9 p.m. Sunday and Monday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
A Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mary was born in Flint, Michigan on August 9, 1929, the daughter of the late William and Nellie (Mears) Haynes.
She was a volunteer at McLaren Hospital for over 10 years.
Surviving are 3 children, Linda Jamra,
Larry Hodges and Cynthia Songne-Krill;
10 grandchildren;
14 great-grandchildren;
several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles L. Hodges and her son, Matthew.
