HANSON, Ruth Anna – of Flint, age 77, passed away October 20, 2019 at The Landings of Genesee Valley. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place 1 PM Monday, November 4, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI., 48532.Visitation will be 12 – 1 PM Monday, November 4, 2019. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County.
Ruth was born in Flint on October 12, 1942, daughter of the late Bernard, Sr. and Mildred (Frerich) Martini. She married Leo A. Hanson December 28, 1968 and he preceded her in death July 7, 2004 after 35 years of marriage. Ruth was a ward clerk at Wheelock Memorial Hospital in Goodrich from 1984 until 1997. She enjoyed crocheting and reading romance books.
Ruth is survived by her son, Kevin Martini of Grand Blanc; daughter, Pamela (Donald) Drost of Davison; grandson, Timothy Drost of Davison; granddaughter, Heather Drost (Blake) of Metamora; sisters, Rita Reeve of Salem, OR, Margaret Mishra of Tuscon, AZ, Dorothy (Richard) Griffin of Sun City, FL, Nadine (Michael) Gancsos of Burton; brother, George (Shari) Martini of Swartz Creek; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Bernard, Jr.; brother-in-law, Baldeo Mishra. The family would like to thank Heart to Heart Hospice and The Landings.
