MOORE, Steward Alvah -- Age 90, of Flint, died October 16, 2018. Services will be held 1PM Wednesday October 24 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel. Our temporary location at Hill Creek Church 5363 Hill Rd., Swartz Creek ( Mundy Township). Visitation will be 11AM Wednesday until time of service at Hill Creek Church. Those desiring may make contributions to Hospice House of Shiawassee County or Old News Boys or American Cancer Society.
Steward was born June 21, 1928 In Wyoming Michigan, the son of Walter and Gertrude Moore (Bush). He married Elaine Weber August 17, 1974 in Flushing. He was employed at Buick as an Electrician with 37 years of service. He was a member of the Flint Corvette Club. He was a painter, and a wood worker.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine Moore; daughter, Donna Moore; grandchildren, Carl Vance, Catherine Newsom, Tommy Newsom; 6 great grandchild; 1 great great grandchild; sisters, Doris Hall and Naomi Sanders; brothers Walter Moore and Jerry Moore; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Lucille Hatch and Nancy Forrest; brother, John Moore.
