FELAX, David, H. M. – of Mt. Morris, age 76, passed away September 4, 2015 at his residence. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Bruce M. Garner officiating. Burial will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8 PM Tuesday and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
David was born in Flint, MI on January 13, 1939 son of the late Herman and Viola (Elowsky) Felax. He married Eileen French on September 17, 1960. David worked his way up from night stock person, to dairy to head produce at Kroger, retiring from the Lapeer Kroger location. He loved woodworking, carpentry, building birdhouses with Eileen, golfing and fishing.
David is survived by his wife, Eileen; son, Tim (Tressie) Felax; grandchildren, Jacob and Kelsey Felax; sister, Lois Hickey.
