BLOOMFIELD, Ida J. – of Gladwin, formerly Flint, age 88, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 30, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 2PM Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Burial at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly at a later date. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday from 5PM until 8PM and Tuesday from 11AM until the time of service at 2PM. Contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice.
Ida was born April 4, 1928 to the late Isaac and Norma (Middleditch) Severn. She married Harold Bloomfield on September 6, 1947. Ida was employed with AC for 18 years. She loved playing cards and golfing. Ida also enjoyed traveling. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving are: Husband, Harold Bloomfield of Gladwin; Daughters: JoAnn (Stephen) Eleazer of Birch Run, and Kathleen Bloomfield of Gaylord; Son, David Bloomfield of Davison; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; Brother, George Severn.
