DANIELS, Dick – of Birch Run, age 59, died Sunday, January 12, 2014 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Friday, January 17, 2014 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Birch Run. Pastor Joseph Atchinson officiating. Cremation to follow. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 1-8 PM and on Friday from 12 noon until time of services at 1 PM. Contributions may be made to the family.
Dick was born March 15, 1954 in Saginaw to the late William and Marietta (Beach) Daniels. He lived in the Birch Run/Clio area his whole life. Dick married Faith Kenny on July 8, 1995. He retired from E & L Construction in 2012 with over 20 years seniority. His favorite time of year was Christmas, he loved putting up his Chirstmas lights and worked on them year round. His roof read "Wise men still seek him". Dick was also known for his daisy duke shorts and his love for his country and the American flag.
Surviving are: wife, Faith; daughters, Angela Daniels of Bridgeport, Sherry (Joe) Rousseau of Birch Run; 2 grandsons, Joseph and Isaac; siblings, William Jr. (Melody) Daniels of Clio, Tom Daniels (companion Madonna) of Clio, Cathy (Tim) Mortson of Lupton, Nancy Daniels (companion Rusty) of Clio, John Daniels of Clio, Debra (Roger) Wallert of Clio; many nieces and nephews.
