Ronald R. Perry
Age 75 of Owosso passed away April 19, 2014 at McLaren Hospital in Flint.
Funeral services will be held 2pm Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Nelson-House Funeral Home with Pastor Eric Stratten officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Tree Cemetery in Corunna. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 2 to 8pm and Tuesday from 11am until the time of service.
Ronald was born May 27, 1938 in West Branch, the son of Archie and Ester (Johnson) Perry.
He proudly served in the United States Air Force and married Mable (Merrill) Spalding on December 28, 1982.
He enjoyed hunting deer and pheasant, fly fishing and ice fishing; mainly blue gill and crafts such as painting. Ronald’s passion was his yard and landscaping and spent countless hours tending to his flowers and gardens.
He retired from Woodard’s Furniture after 40 years of service in the Paint Department.
Ronald is survived by his wife Mable; sons Ronald (Ann) Perry Jr., Randall Perry and Richard Perry; step-children Donald (Ella) Walker, Karen (Michael) Marrah, Dennis Walker, Jeanne Cole, Katherine (Karl) Kimmerer and Paul (Barbara) Walker; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
He was predeceased in death by his parents, brother Cecil, sister Ida Schneider, and step-son David Walker.
Ron will be laid to rest with his former wife Bonnie (Eldridge) Perry who preceded him in death.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Alzheimer’s Association or charity of donor’s choice.
