LIEBMANN, Bessie Frances - Of Grand Blanc, age 91, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ Saturday, July 6, 2013.
Funeral service will be held 11am Saturday, July 20, 2013
at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Larry Burk officiating.
Private burial in North Grove Cemetery.
Visitation 9:30am Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Bessie was born in Holly Hill, Florida on January 30, 1922.
She married David Edwin Liebmann on November 16, 1942, in Miami, FL. They raised three girls and one boy in Miami, FL. Bessie was a stay-at-home wife and mother. She was the kind of mother that had cookies when we stepped off the school bus each day. Bessie attended the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church until the death of her husband. Bessie spent the rest of her days in Grand Blanc and attended South Baptist Church.
Surviving are daughters, Joyce and husband Larry Dunckel, Marilyn and husband Myles Willard, Carolyn and husband Sam Dawson, and son, George and wife Leslie Liebmann;
grandchildren, Scott Dunckel, Amy Gant, Ben Dawson, Marilyn Stewart, Matthew Liebmann, Katie Joy Anderson, David Liebmann and Christie Marsh;
13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David on September 20, 2003 and grandson, Todd Dunckel, on September 16, 2009.
The family wishes to thank the care-givers at Prestige Pointe for their several years of care for our mother and a special thank you to Hospice Advantage for their care and support.
