SLEMIN JR, Joseph C. Age 66, passed away on April 9, 2017 in Las Cruces, NM. He was born in Owosso, MI, the son of Joseph Sr. and Edith (Buckley) Slemin. He grew up in Clayton Township and was active in the 4-H Live Stock Club. Joseph was an electrician and worked in the Southwest, CO, NM, AZ, and worked in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. Joseph was a loving brother and uncle, always coming to family events. Surviving are 3 sisters, Rose Meyer, of Plymouth MN, Mary (Carl) Pelikan of Flint, Carol Belford of Burton; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother John. A Memorial Mass will be held 11 AM Saturday May 6 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4413 Morrish Road, Swartz Creek. Fr. Louis Ekka celebrant. Visitation will be 10 am until time of service at the church on Saturday.
