Lefler, Arnold Richard – of Lake George, age 80, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Mid Michigan Medical Center in Clare surrounded by his family.
A time of sharing memories will be held on Friday, July 10, 2015 at 4 PM Friday, July 10, 2015 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home, Montrose, MI. Cremation will follow service. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 12noon until time of sharing at 4 PM. In honor of Arnold’s ways, please wear jeans (casual) to the service.
Arnold loved his oasis in the woods. He spent his retirement years in Lake George where he enjoyed his home and the nature that surrounded him. He was happiest on the front porch holding his puppy Little Bit and watching the wild animals scurry around in the yard.
Arnold was born March 22, 1935 in Flint, MI the son of the late Arnold Abraham and Vora Noreen (DeYoung) Lefler. He married Judith Elaine Edenburn on February 15, 1964. He worked at GM Truck and Bus and Conleys Collision with his best friend Bob Boggs.
Arnold is survived by: his wife of 51 years, Judy; furbaby, Little Bit; sister Glea Rae (Jerry) Fischer; daughters: Robin (Gerald) Forgie; Tammy (Elliot Truman) Lefler; Shawn Marie (Donald) Hough; son Arnold Todd (Sharon) Lefler; daughter-in-law Becky Lefler; thirteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
