KAUFFMAN, Wesley – of Burton, age 75, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with Parkinsons Disease, May 4, 2016 at Genesys Health Park. A Funeral Service will be held 12 PM Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Shawn Eicher officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 PM Monday and 11 AM – 12 PM Tuesday. At the family’s request, please wear your favorite MSU outfit for the service.

Wesley was born in Pigeon, MI on September 1, 1940, son of the late Archie and Grace (Miller) Kaufman. He married Patricia Smith on October 17, 1964. Wesley retired from Central Concrete, loved collecting Lionel Trains, doing jigsaw puzzles and reading his bible. Wesley belonged to Grace Christian Fellowship Church. He was known as “Mr. Fix It” and was a huge MSU fan. Wesley had his pilot’s license and enjoyed flying.

Wesley is survived by his wife of 51 years, Patricia; children, Paul Kauffman, Paula (Gene) Campbell, Theresa (Pablo) Aguirre, Cyndi (James Payne) Kauffman; seven grandchildren, Shane, Marissa and Lexi Campbell, Bianca Aguirre, Jordan, Justice and Jaylen Payne; brother, Richard (Sandy) Kauffman; sister, Fern (Ernie) Perkins; many extended family. He was preceded in death by his brother, Don Kauffman; sister, Lois Anderson. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Gentiva Home Care.
