HENRY, Robert W. – of Flint, age 72, died Monday, January 28, 2013 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Thursday, January 31, 2013 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Rev. James Ownsby officiating. Burial will be in Thetford Twp. Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-8PM and on Thursday from 11AM-1PM. Contributions may be made to the VFW Post #8236 on Coldwater Rd..
Bob was born January 13, 1941 in South Haven, MI to the late Claude and
Wilamina (Haymaker) Henry and lived in Flint since 1979. He married Faye St. Louis on October 26, 1968 in St. Ignace. Bob was a commercial fisherman for Hagen’s Fishery in St. Ignace for over 25 years. He was an honorary fireman in St. Ignace. He enjoyed fishing, crafting, flea marketing, hunting, spending time with his grandkids and family.
Surviving are: wife, Faye; daughter, Tammie (Paul) Trimmer of Lansing; 5 grandchildren, Zachary, Morgan, Melanie, Cammie and Gregory; 3 great grandchildren, Mil’Lana, Santino and Dos Santos; sister, Dorothy Hiatt of Fennville; several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by: daughter, Jo Rhonda and husband Everett Hatfield; brother, Ed Pratt; 2 sisters, Clara Crosby and Marie Atwood; and a niece, Debra Boothby.
