CHUCHVARA, Felicia “Helen” – of Davison, age 90, passed away April 6, 2020 at the Cottage of Davison. A Private Burial will take place in St. John Catholic Cemetery, Davison, MI. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Daughters of Isabella or The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Helen was born in Otisville, MI on February 2, 1930, daughter of the late Frank and Catherina (Wregzzon) Kowalski. Helen was the first in her family to graduate High School. She married John Chuchvara on August 20, 1950 and he preceded her in death on June 2, 2011. Helen taught E.C.F. classes for 25 years. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella, Bishop Sewing for 23 years and G.C.U. President. She enjoyed teaching sewing, floral arranging, Ukrainian Easter eggs, water aerobics and many crafts. From wood working, canning, baking, and making dozens upon dozens of Halloween costumes. Helen could do just about anything.
Helen is survived by her children, Stephanie Davis, Paula (Murray) McMurray, Barbara (Chris) Kleber, Edward (Marie) Chuchvara, Robert Chuchvara, Thomas (Andrea) Chuchvara; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grand children.
