WILLIS, Carol A. “Fluffy” - Of Grand Blanc, age 65, died Thursday, June 9, 2016 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral service will be held 11am, Monday, on June 13, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Steve Cunningham officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to Bruce Willis Rochester College School of Nursing Student Scholarship Fund.
Visitation 12-3pm and 5-8pm Sunday at the funeral home.
Carol was born in Flint on September 21, 1950. On May 5, 1973, she married Bruce Willis and he preceded her in death on March 28, 2009. She received her Associates Degree at Michigan Christian College and her BA at Central Michigan University. Carol also received a Specialist SBB certification in Blood Banking. She worked for 25 years with the American Red Cross. After retiring, Carol also worked at St. Mary’s and McLaren-Oakland. She was a member of Bristol Road Church of Christ and active in Outreach Ministries. Carol also enjoyed camping with her friends.
Surviving are daughter, Amanda and husband Greg Bartlett of Grand Blanc;
grandson, Willis H. Bartlett;
siblings, Mary and husband Greg Raterman of Ohio, Susan and husband Terry Starnes of Georgia, Mark and wife Margie Crutchfield of Texas and Dave and wife Connie Crutchfield of Fenton;
and many nieces and nephews.
