BILLINGS, Ronald E. – Of Grand Blanc, age 73, died Thursday, March 28, 2013 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2013 at the Swartz Funeral Home 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend G. Patrick England officiating.
Those desiring may make contributions to Avalon Hospice or DaVita Dialysis.
Visitation 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Ronald was born in Grand Blanc, Michigan on October 30, 1939, the son of the late Russell and Bernice (Holsinger) Billings.
He married Evon Sue “Penny” Ebright on September 30, 1961 in Grand Blanc.
Mr. Billings worked at GM for 35 years, retiring in 1996.
Surviving are son, Jeffrey Billings and fiancee' Patrice of Flint;
two daughters, Laura and husband Don Hazel of Davison,
Lisa and husband Charles Crowe of Flint;
8 grandchildren, Keith (Rachele),
Jeffrey,
Travis, Christine,
Kristina (Chad),
Melissa,
Kurstin and
Michael;
4 great-grandchildren, Michael, Wyatt, Trevor and Ellie;
brothers and sisters, Eleanor Milloway, Beverly Goold, Larry (Buffy) Billings, John (Cheryl) Billings and Donald Billings (Beth).
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evon “Penny”; son, Jack and sister, Jene Simons.
