Ruth Ann Boatman of Davison age 81 died Saturday June 9, 2012 at her residence. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday June 14, 2012 at the Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Rev. Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating with burial at Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive visitors from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home, those desiring may make contributions in Ruth's memory to McLaren Hospice. Ruth was born in England Arkansas November 27, 1930 the daughter of the late; William & Esther (Pemberton) Hanley, and had resided in the Davison area most of her life. She was joined in marriage to Ollie Boatman on September 30, 1944 and he preceded her in death February 4, 1999. Ruth had been employed by both Sears and the Macy's Stores until her recent retirement. Surviving are children; Bill Boatman, Diaina Cook, Ponchita Smith and Don Boatman.
