BLANCK, Ellen Jean - age 78, of Flint Township passed away December 12, 2018. A Memorial Gathering will be held 4-8 PM Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or National Kidney Foundation.
Ellen was born in Saginaw, the daughter of Stanley and Margaret (Vande Bunt) Riness. She graduated from Beecher High School. Ellen married Herman Blanck in Flint on February 21, 1970. She was employed by Chevrolet Metal Fab for 14 years. She was an accomplished artist who enjoyed painting landscape scenes and lighthouses. Ellen also enjoyed gardening and reading.
Surviving are: her beloved husband of 48 years, Herman; children, Mark Blanck of Flint Twp., Karen Blanck of Battle Creek; sister, Patricia Densmore; several nieces and nephews.
