DULA, William C. – age 79 of Flint, MI passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at Pleasant Lake Assisted Living in Lapeer, MI. Visitation will be take place Thursday, August 25, 2016 from 11AM-1PM. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 1PM at Reigle Funeral Home – Sunset Chapel – 5501 W. Pierson Rd. Flushing, MI. Father Jay Gantz officiating. Burial will take place at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. William was born in Flint, MI on November 11, 1936 to the late Joseph and Anna (Bradley) Dula. He graduated from Sacred Heart Catholic School. William served his country in the United States Army. He later on went to retire from Buick after more than 40 years of employment. William was a member of Dom Polski and the American Legion Post 283. He enjoyed fishing in his younger years, then later began golfing and bowling. He will be remembered for his “quirky” sayings and his “cure for the common cold.” Surviving are his daughter, Kimberly Chovanec; granddaughters, Amanda and Sharayah Thornton; great-grandchildren, Maximus, Apollo, and Lillian, and several nieces, nephews and other family members. William was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Joseph and James Dula. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Pleasant Lake Assisted Living in Lapeer for their wonderful care.
