Shick, Millicent M. "Millie" – of Montrose, age 90, died Thursday, November 17, 2016, at Angel Manor in Clio. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 AM, Monday, November 21, 2016, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Montrose. Rev. Fr. Gordon Reigle officiating. Burial in Montrose Township Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose on Sunday from 1-8 PM and at the church on Monday from 10 AM until the time of mass. A Rosary will be prayed at the funeral home at 7PM Sunday evening. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kayla O'Mara Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Millie was born September 6, 1926, in Spaulding Township to the late Clarence and Frances (Ladd) Bennett. She married Charles Shick on August 30, 1946. Millie was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church and the Montrose Senior Center. She enjoyed Euchre and Bingo and was an avid Detroit Tigers fan. Millie also loved spending winters in Florida.

Surviving are: 4 children: Robert (Linda) Shick of Clio, Waye (Lynne) Shick of Montrose, Kay Shick of Flint, and Linda O'Mara of Montrose; 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Millie was also preceded in death by 2 brothers: John and Thomas Bennet; 2 sisters: Lorraine and Genevieve Cherwinski and granddaughter, Kayla O'Mara.
