Peggy Jane Traver, age 88, of Columbiaville died November 21, 2016 at Covenant Glen in Frankenmuth with her family beside her.
Peggy was born May 21, 1928 in Filer, Idaho to the late Alvin and Nellie Callahan. She later married Keith Traver on July 15, 1950 in Lapeer. Peggy was a member of the Columbiaville Historical Society and Columbiaville Friends of the Library. She enjoyed gardening, bowling, golfing, quilting, knitting, crocheting, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Peggy is survived by her husband Keith,
Children: Jeanette Bennett, Jeffery (Sherry) Traver, Julie (Charles) Cox, and
Grandchildren: Adam, Eric, Angela, Niki, Melissa, Elijah, Evan, Ian, and great-grandchildren: Amelia, Hannah, Ryan, Reese, Lucas, Mason, Morgan, Grace, Riley, Makenna, and Liam. She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings: Jack, Bob, Amy, Ann, and Helen.
Funeral service 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Jansen Family Funeral Home - Columbiaville, where friends may visit Tuesday 3:00 to 9:00 PM. Pastor Roger Keur officiating. Interment Wood Lawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Peggy may be made to the Columbiaville Historical Society. |
