Kelly Sue Ann Gross
Age 49 of Chesaning passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at her home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at St. Michael Catholic Church of Maple Grove with Father John Cotter officiating. Burial will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery. The family will receive friends at McGeehan Funeral Homes Martin Chapel on Monday, September 16 from 2:00 to 8:00pm with a Vigil service at 7:00pm and a Knights of Columbus Rosary at 8:00pm.
Kelly was born on February 5, 1970 to Robert and Helen (VanHorn) Wright in Owosso. She married Bruce O. Gross on June 20, 1998 at St. Michael's; they celebrated 21 years of marriage this year.
During her life, Kelly cherished quality time spent with her husband, nieces, nephews, godchildren, and friends. She loved her dogs and rescuing German Shepherd. Kelly's family, friends, and fur babies were the center of her life. Kelly also enjoyed making crafts, decorating for Halloween and Christmas, photography, and watching football. She loved being outdoors, especially camping, kayaking, and gardening. Kelly was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church.
Kelly is survived by her husband, Bruce Gross; her parents, Robert and Helen Wright; her parents-in-law, Peter and Linda Simecki and Patty Gross; her siblings, Michael (Kay) Wright, Alan (Bev) Wright, and Melody (John) Kluge; her siblings-in-law, Brian (Stacey) Gross, Kendra Gross, Trish (Al) Baggett, Dennis (Niya) Gross, Danny Gross, Mary (Tyler) Fallis, Karen (Bob) Simecki), Bryan (Margaret) Simecki, Peter (Stephanie) Simecki, and Steven (Angela) Simecki; and many nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
She is predeceased by her father-in-law, Dennis Gross; her brothers, Ronald and Kevin Wright; her nephews, Jason Wright and Marc Lorencz, and many aunts and uncles.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the German Shepherd Rescue, or a charity of the donor's choice.
