Robert James Ferguson, age 87 of Flint, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2019. He was born on August 7, 1931 in Flint to parents James P. and Marguerite (Conklin) Ferguson. He worked as the supervising engineer of Genesee Valley for several years before retiring. Before that he worked as a janitor for Westwood Heights school district and for over 40 years with the Mt. Morris Township #2 Fire Department. Robert enjoyed working on his property in Indian River. He also enjoyed woodworking and traveling with his wife Nancy before her passing. Robert is survived by his sons: Robert W. Ferguson, Steven J. Ferguson, and Gary A. Ferguson; granddaughter: Christina Ferguson; daughter-in-law, Judy. He was preceded in death by both parents; wife, Nancy Ferguson; sister, Marguerite White; brother-in-law, Harold R. White. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Reigle Funeral Home, 5501 W. Pierson Rd., Flushing. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 from 1-8pm and again on Wednesday, one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10am. Interment at Flint Memorial Park. |
