MALDANER, Frank Richard - Of Mio, MI., age 78, died Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Regency of Grand Blanc, MI.
Frank was born in Flint on March 17, 1940, the son of Heinrich and Riva (Simmons) Maldaner. Frank was raised by his father and his loving mother, Ethel Mae Bach. Frank worked in maintenance at General Motors for 30 years before his retirement.
Surviving are daughters, Tamera (Nelson) Kilbourne, Nona Vickers (Don Daniels);
granddaughters, Nicole (Clifton) Bumhoffer, Chelsea (Jon) Ballard, Kaitlin R. Kilbourne, Erika (Kurt) Kirby and his 8 wonderful great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews;
sister, Ann (Lee) Dawley;
brother, Joe Maldaner;
special cousin, Carol Ann Brock;
and loving friend, Karen Johnston.
Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl, father, Heinrich Maldaner, mother Ethel Mae Bach and his son, Frank.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life by his family and friends will take place in Mio, Michigan.
