HAWKINS, Mary Ann - age 83, formerly of Linden, passed away January 30, 2020. A Memorial Gathering will be held 2 PM - 4 PM Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Mary was born July 16, 1936 in Goodrich, the daughter of Orace E and Lucile M Johnson. She married John Phillip "Phil" Hawkins in Flint November 17, 1963. Mary was a graduate of Grand Blanc High School. She WORKED at the Fenton Hotel for many years. Mary later became a homemaker. She enjoyed shopping, bird watching, and especially enjoyed happy hours sitting on the lake shore with Phil at their home in the Upper Peninsula on Lake Huron.
Surviving are: children, Gregory A. (Masada "Musty" Habhab) Hawkins, Dawn Marie (Edward) Holley, and John P. (Amy) Hawkins; grandchildren, Megan E. (Casey) Gilbert, Nichole M. (James) Douglas, Michael A. (Viktoria) Oberley, Patrick R. Hawkins, and Alexander L. Hawkins; great grandchildren, Aaden Gilbert, Ayva Douglas, Brendon Douglas, Addison Gilbert, Rafe Oberley, and Whitman Oberley; and sisters, Patricia Cooper and Carol Paul.
