ZUHLKE, Mary J. – of Millington, age 103, walked hand in hand into Heaven with her daughter, Bonnie Socia, on Thursday, January 9, 2020. Funeral services will be held at 11AM Friday, January 17, 2020 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Thursday from 12PM until 8PM and on Friday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County.
Mary was born February 5, 1916 in Millington, Michigan to the late William and Maude (Thompson) Loomis. She married Frank Zuhlke on June 26, 1937. He preceded her in death on January 8, 1972. Mary enjoyed gardening, traveling, dancing, Polka music and trips to Vegas. She also enjoyed nature - watching the deer, and spending time with people at gatherings. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Surviving are: Children: Gloria Bryant, Ginger Kingsbury, Donna Craven, and Frank Zuhlke Jr.; 13 grandchildren; Many great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and great-great great grandchildren; She was also preceded in death by her 10 siblings.
