KING, Claudis L. "Lonnie" – of Mt. Morris, age 61, died Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Home. Funeral services will be held at 1PM Monday, April 14, 2014 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio with Military Honors. Pastor Dan Shinabarger officiating. Cremation will follow. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 1PM until 8PM and on Monday from 10 AM until the time of services at 1 PM. Contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.

Lonnie was born on August 18, 1952 to Joseph and Shirley (Whiting) King. He was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran. Lonnie retired from working construction for many years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, dancing, spending time with his children, grandchildren and friends. He will be greatly missed.

Surviving are: wife, Sandra (Sharp) King of Mt. Morris; children, Hope (Josh) Sparks, Cloyce Dean Roberts, Amanda (Brett) Anderson, Lonnie (Natasha) King, Marcena King (Mike Owens); parents, Roger and Shirley Rasmussen; mother in law, Ilene Sharp; siblings, Ted (Lorie) King, Roxanna King, Mark King, Sheila King, Tracy (Jody) King, Cassie (Todd) Robinson, Christine (Jonathan) Love, Wendy (Jimmy) Reiland, Angela McArdle, Cheri (Buzz) Steinmetz, Carla (Mike) Price, Darla Grossman; brother in law, Ron Mora; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Lonnie was preceded in death by: infant son, Kristian King; sister, Tammy Mora; father, Ted King; infant brother, Jay Edward King; father in law, Vance Sharp and Brother in law Bob Grossman.
