ARMSTRONG, Donna M. (Bagley) - Of Flint, age 96, died Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Monday, July 29, 2024 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Evangelist Mary McClellan officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Contributions may be directed to the Genesee County Humane Society
Visitation 11am Monday until the time of the time of the service at the funeral home.
Donna was born in Flint, Michigan on December 10, 1927, the daughter of the late Barney and Beatrice Bagley. She lived in Burton and Flint all of her life. On May 8, 1954, she married Richard Armstrong and he preceded her in death in 1999. Donna retired from Michigan National Bank after 24 years of service. She was a member of Community of Christ Church Bristolwood. Donna enjoyed decorating her home, flower gardening, reading, oil painting, the Detroit Lions, the sound of trains and the beauty in nature. Above all, Donna loved and cherished her family.
Surviving are daughter, Lynda (Dean) Yeotis;
Several nieces and nephews;
Special friend, Charlotte Snooks;
And her beloved cat, Molly.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Rhonda Armstrong, sister, Edna Walker, and brothers, Clyde, Dar and Del Bagley.
The family would like to extend our many thanks to the special care provided by Nurse Julie and staff of McLaren Hospice and Melissa, Mo and all of the caregivers of Right At Home in home care.
