Renee Ann Landaal, age 64 of Flint, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2019. She was born on July 9, 1954 in Flint to the late Earl and Shirley (Loiselle) Schmidt. She graduated from Powers Catholic High School in the 70’s. She retired from GM after 30 years of service and she also owned and operated a 7-Eleven. Renee enjoyed traveling and watching movies. Most of all, she loved spending time with her nieces and great nephews. She was a loving sister, aunt and friend who will be dearly missed by all. From niece Sarah, “We’ll miss you, Little Miss Muffet!” Renee is survived by her sister, Collette M. Yott; nieces: Erika A. Yott, Sarah M. Yott, and Grace Schmidt; nephew, Spencer Schmidt; great-nephews: Henry Lee and Garrett Arthur Couture. She was preceded in death by both parents; husband, Thomas Landaal; and brother, Stephen Schmidt; mother-in-law, Virginia Landaal. A memorial service will be held at 3pm on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc. Father James Mangan officiating. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service, beginning at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Renee’s great-nephews: Garrett Arthur Couture and Henry Lee. |
