APPLEBEE, Terry Lee – of Davison, age 67, passed away June 23, 2015 at McLaren Flint. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 11 AM Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. Burial of cremated remains, with Military Honors will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 PM Tuesday and 10 AM until time of service on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
Terry was born in Flint, MI on May 20, 1948, son of the late Jenny L. Applebee. He married Patricia Vert on November 1, 1968 in San Diego, CA. Terry was a Vietnam Veteran and served proudly for 2 years and held on to the pride of being a Marine. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and hunting. Terry worked at GM for 39 ½ years at the Buick Complex as a General Foreman of Maintenance. He loved spending time with his grandkids and family and traveling to Florida in the winter.
Terry is survived by his wife, Patricia A.; children, Amy Lynn (Joseph) Layman and Stephen A. (Aimee) Applebee; grandchildren, Kyle, Sara, Olivia and Owen; siblings, Deborah, Pam and Sherry; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, favorite 4 legged companion, Abby. He was preceded in death by his cherished grandparents, Glade and Lucy Applebee.
