LaMAY, Kathleen "Barb"- of Clio, age 85, died on October 4, 2014 at Hurley Hospital in Flint. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Mt. Morris. Fr. Thomas Nenneau officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Friends may call at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Wednesday from 11 AM until 8 PM. Mrs. LaMay will lie in state at the church on Thursday from 10 AM until the time of service at 11 AM. Contributions may be made to the church.
Kathleen was born on June 14, 1929 in Mt. Morris to the late William and Pauline (McCloverty) Delaney. She married Gene St. Clair LaMay on July 19, 1947, he preceded her in death on June 5, 1974. Kathleen retired in 2010 as lunch supervisor from Lacure Elementary School. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Barb loved going to the casino and playing Bingo. She was an avid reader and Linda's Goodwill shopping buddy.
Surviving are: children, Linda J Wilson of Clio, Timothy (Denise) LaMay of Flint, Victor (Kay) LaMay of Montrose, Jeffrey (Sandy) LaMay of Clio, Daniel LaMay of Flint; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Nina (Glen) Moore of Lake; many other family and friends. She was also preceded in death by: a granddaughter, Erica LaMay; sisters, Patricia Christner, Janet McMurtry and JoAnn Goldie.
