LUTEN, Teri R. – Of Flint Township, age 62, died peacefully on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 24, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating.
Cremation will take place following the service.
Visitation 1-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Teri was born in Flint, Michigan on February 12, 1954, the daughter of Kenneth and Evelyn (Benson) Hall.
She graduated from Ainsworth High School in 1972.
On November 27, 1971 married Joseph Reid Luten Jr. in Flint.
Her hobbies were antiquing, casino trips and camping.
She was a member of Veteran of Foreign Wars Post #822 Ladies Auxiliary.
She mostly enjoyed time with family and friends.
Teri was a bus driver for 22 years with the Carman-Ainsworth School System.
Surviving are husband, Reid;
daughter, Dana Smirnoff of Flushing;
grandson, Nolan Avery Smirnoff;
brother, Kenneth (Beaver) Hall II and wife Debra Hall of Flint;
many nieces and nephews.
