Ralph Elwood Knapp, 70, of Caro, died Wednesday July 31, 2024. He was born December 18, 1953 in Flint to parents Herbert and Gladys (Gorbutt) Knapp. Ralph married Susan Davis on September 23, 1972 in Millington.
Mr. Knapp was a truck driver with Richfield Disposal, Davison. He was known for playing the guitar and really enjoyed hunting and fishing. Ralph cherished family cookouts and any excuse for a get together. He just loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mr. Knapp is survived by his wife of nearly 52 years: Susan, children: Jeremey Knapp, Sr. and Faye Carsten, grandchildren: Jeremey, Jr. (& Elena), Derek (& Brittany), Kara, Heather (& Josh), Sarah (& Devin), great-grandchildren: Colten, Todd, Wyatt, Ella, Rosie and Aria as well as sister: Beverley Brown. He was preceded in death by his son-in-law: Steven, son’s fiancé: Jackie, brothers: Darrell and Garry Knapp as well as his parents.
Cremation has been entrusted with Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer. The family will be hosting a memorial dinner at a later date, they will contact you directly.
