Eunice Ellen Bowers-Rose- age 91 of Farwell, passed away at her home on Monday, March 4, 2019. Eunice was born on December 2, 1927 in South Boardman, MI to parents Mark and Addiline (Olin) Wonsey. She was a former owner of Bud's Furniture in Farwell, and loved fishing, playing the piano, art, music, and especially loved her fur babies, Baby and Sassy Rose. Eunice was married to Bobby Rose in January of 1999. She is survived by her husband Bobby, two daughters; Patsy Thrush and Candra Katzenstein both of Farwell, seven step-children; Gary Garber and wife Janet of Chase, Jerry Garber of Edmore, Randy Garber and wife Marge of Alabama, Sheila Rose of Farwell, Robert Rose and wife Deb of Alabama, William Rose and wife Kathy of Vestaburg, Tammy Hollenbeck and husband Marlen of Kewadin, thirty-two grandchildren, fifty-five great grandchildren, twenty-two great-great grandchildren, daughter-in-law Donna Bowers of Farwell, two brothers Roger Wonsey of Brighton, and Lindy Wonsey and wife Janice of McBain, two sisters Lorraine Salisbury of Lake City, Beatrice Miller of McBain, and many more nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband LaRoy Bowers on June 3, 1950, three sons; Joel Jerry, and Gary Bowers, and a daughter Elizabeth Bowers, also 3 brothers and four sisters. A funeral service is planned for Thursday, March 7th at the Campbell-Stocking Funeral Home in Farwell at 11AM. Pastor Marty Cobb will officiate with burial in Surrey Township Cemetery.
