BAILEY, Alma F. – of Flint, age 89, died Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at McLaren of Flint. Funeral services will be held 11AM Monday, March 21, 2016 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Rev. Ernest Davis officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive visitors at the Funeral home in Clio on Sunday 2-6PM and Monday from 10AM until the time of service.
Alma was born April 19, 1926 in Rector, Arkansas to the late Sam and Margie (Hudson) Merritt. She married Arnel E. Bailey April 23, 1949 in Rector, Arkansas. He preceded her in death September 22, 2012. Alma was a former member of Deliverance Tabernacle in Burton. Above all, Alma loved spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Surviving are: Daughters: Verna Jackson of Grand Blanc, Carol (Jerry) Bibbs of Davison and Arliene (Richard) Shafer of Flint; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; Several nieces and nephews; Alma was preceded in death by her 2 sisters and 4 brothers.
