WILSON (WYLLIE), Susan Ann – Of Flushing, age 83 passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 16, 2017.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 22, 2017 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Teresa Peterson officiating.
Burial in Acacia Park in Beverly Hills, Michigan.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Family Promise of Genesee County or the American Kidney Foundation.
Visitation 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Susan was born May 13, 1934 to Helen (Vogt) and Cliff Wyllie in Detroit, MI and had been a resident of Detroit, Livonia, West Bloomfield, Union Lake, Waterford, Atlanta, Las Vegas NV and Flushing.
Three years after graduating from Detroit Cooley High School, Sue married her to-be lifelong partner, Ralph Wilson on Aug 27, 1955. While she enjoyed many hobbies over the years, basket making, cross stitching, and making jewelry, she devoted herself to her family.
Sue is survived by her husband of 61 years, Ralph Wilson;
sons, Kenneth (Kimberly) Wilson of Olathe KS and Robert Wilson of Grand Blanc, MI;
granddaughters, Kara (Wilson) Mitchell of Olathe KS, Kayla Wilson of Olathe KS, Pamela Wilson of Novi MI and Rachel Wilson of Grand Blanc, MI;
great-granddaughter, Kinley Mitchell.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mary (Wyllie) Wolfe, and brother, William Wyllie.
