CROWE, Edward Lee – Of Flint, age 81, died Sunday, December 16, 2012 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 20, 2012 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road,
officiating.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to DaVita Dialysis at Park Plaza.
Visitation 12-8 p.m. Wednesday and 11 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Edward was born in Davidson Chapel, Tennessee on March 2, 1931, the son of Thomas and Jannie Crowe and was a resident of Flint.
He served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
“Pa” took care of everyone and he enjoyed being with his family.
He enjoyed playing guitar and played in many bands.
Mr. Crowe was employed by GM Truck & Bus as an Inspector for 33 years.
Surviving are children, Charlie (Lisa) Crowe and
Donnie (Rose) Crowe;
grandchildren, Joyce, Jeffrey, Christine, Melissa, Tonya, Katie, Gina, Kelly, Robert, Kevin, Jeremy, Carin, Leah, Dawn and Timmy;
many great-grandchildren;
brother, Ray Crowe;
sisters, Becky and Sue;
sister-in-law, Millie Wilford.
He was preceded in death by his wife and friend, Katherine; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Brenda; daughter, Marsha Crowe; granddaughter, Tammy; brothers, R.C. Wilford and Lloyd Crowe.
