ADKISSON, Delores J. - Of Flint, age 87, died Friday, October 2, 2020 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral service will be held 11am Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Bristol Road Church of Christ, G1315 W. Bristol Road, Flint,
Tony McKee officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bristol Road Church of Christ.
Visitation 4-8pm Friday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Visitation 10am Saturday at church until the time of the service.
Delores was born in Flint on April 8, 1933, the daughter of the late Elmer and Katie (Holder) Nicholson.
Surviving are husband of 67 years, Billy Adkisson;
children, Karon (David) Hunt of Grand Blanc, Douglas (Susan) Adkisson of Columbia, TN, Rebecca (Brian) Hilgers of Hermosa Beach, CA and Russell (Tammy) Adkisson of Butler, PA;
grandchildren, Janet (Nick) McVannel, Philip Hunt, Eric Adkisson, Darci (David) Morris, Brielle Hilgers, and Kristina and Stephanie Adkisson;
great-grandchildren, Jacob and Bryan McVannel and Ameila and Sophia Morris;
and brother, Kenneth and wife June.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 sisters, Marguerite and Madge.
