HUNT, Matthew Leo - Age 55, of Swartz Creek, died Saturday, September 7, 2019. A celebration of life service will take place 3:00 PM Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Matthew's home, 9519 Bristol Road, Swartz Creek. Those desiring may make contributions to Acute Myeloid Leukemia Foundation.
Matt was born April 24, 1964 in Flint, the son of Donald Edward and Eileen Madeline (Miller) Hunt. He was a 1983 graduate of Swartz Creek High School. He resided in Swartz Creek his entire life. He married Deidrie Ann Mills December 31, 2008 at Grace Lutheran Church in Flint. Matt was employed by Fick Excavating for the past 5 years and also owned and operated Matt's Automotive Repair for many years. He was a longtime musician and best known for his sense of humor. He also enjoyed hunting, motorcycles, classic cars, and was a animal lover.
Surviving are: his wife, Deidrie; children, Jacquelyn Tomlinson of Swartz Creek, Lytia Hunt of Tennessee, Dorian (Taya) Vilify of Flint, Mason Hunt of Swartz Creek, and Neelie Hunt of Swartz Creek; sister, Margo Hunt of Flint; brothers,David (Sue) Hunt of Holly and Tino (Amber) Medina of Ovid; and several nieces and nephews.
